SAT I

The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I) is a standardized test widely used for the admissions into colleges in the United States. The test is developed and owned by College Board. The SAT measures the literacy, numeracy and writing skills of students that are needed for college curriculum.

The SAT is a 3 hour 50 minute exam consisting of the following sections: Reading, Writing and Language Test, Math Calculator, Math Non-calculator and One Essay (Optional). The Total Testing Time for SAT with Essay is 3 hours and 50 minutes and excluding the Essay is 3 hours.

Both the verbal and the Mathematics sections are scored separately between 200-800 and the total test score can range between 400-1600. Two examiners score the essay on 3 categories: reading, analysis and writing. Each category is scored between 1 and 4. Essay score can range between 2 and 4 for each category.

SAT II

Subject SAT tests are designed to evaluate the student’s knowledge in specific subject areas such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science and many more. In order to secure an admission in high-end universities, it is highly recommended to take the SAT II exam along with the General SAT test. The faculty at excelligenz is dedicated to support the student throughout the training program and assess them at each fortnight to ensure progress and sustainability. This can ultimately boost the student’s confidence and help them attain the best scores. Subject SAT tests are 1 hour long with multiple choice questions. The test is scored on a scale of 200-800.

We provide both group sessions as well as private sessions depending on the student’s requirement and availability.
